Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation is the most popular plastic surgery procedure in the United States.[1] Dr. Justin Booth is an expert in the field of breast augmentation, offering silicone and saline options to meet your precise needs.
Breast implants allow you to design the bustline you have always wanted. Our Austin clinic is your premier destination for breast enhancement. Women who wish for more dimension to their chest can explore the world of breast implants to increase their size and expand their horizons.
Breast Implant Revision
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends that patients refresh their breast implants every 10-15 years. The art and science of breast augmentation has advanced immensely in the past decade, so you will marvel at the options you now have.[2]
Dr. Booth will work with the contours of your body to ensure that your new implants provide enhanced improvement without “overdoing” it.
Your breast augmentation should accentuate your appearance, not distract from it. If you are dissatisfied with a past breast enhancement procedure, contact our office. Dr. Booth can assess your case and update your look as unobtrusively as possible. For example, if possible, he can work with the incision placement from your previous augmentation procedure to minimize scarring. After all, improvement is all about moving forward, not looking back.
Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
When the shape of your breast is droopy or deflated, you may be struggling with ptosis. Sagging of the breasts becomes more pronounced with age, and the excess skin dissatisfies many women. Diet and exercise are powerless to eliminate redundant skin, so a surgical approach may be in order.
Breast lift (mastopexy) surgery is defined by the incision pattern used to bring your enhancement to life. Dr. Booth will customize your procedure according to your anatomy, the extent of your ptosis (sagging), and your ultimate aesthetic goals.
Periareolar Incision
For a subtle yet striking enhancement, a periareolar incision may be ideal.[3] Dr. Booth gently removes a ring of skin surrounding the areola, the dark region around the nipple. After skillfully contouring the soft tissue within, the doctor sutures the incision closed, restoring harmony and youthfulness to the breast.
Vertical Incision
When excess skin is more pronounced, it may require an additional incision, extending downward from the areola. Dr. Booth can reshape the breast, perching it higher on the chest. He then joins the ridges of his vertical incision, bringing a toned, taut firmness to the breast as a whole.
Anchor Technique
Building from the vertical incision method described above, an anchor incision flares out along the breast fold. The resulting shape resembles an anchor, hence the name. This incision allows Dr. Booth to improve the contours of the breast in three dimensions, lifting it comprehensively.

Breast Reduction
If your breasts cause you discomfort or aesthetic dissatisfaction, they may benefit from reduction surgery. Excessively large breasts can lead to neck and back pain for the women who carry that burden. Clothes may not fit and even sleeping can be a chore.
Dr. Booth can contour your breasts while reducing their overall size. The incision techniques are similar to the breast lift options outlined above, but a breast reduction also includes liposuction.[4] By gently loosening excess fat cells with tumescent liquid, Dr. Booth prepares them for extraction. The softened fat deposits are vacuumed from the breast pocket through a thin tube called a cannula. The cannula is so precise, it sculpts the breasts to reflect your ideal shape. If the procedure is being performed for health reasons, your insurance may cover a portion of your breast reduction surgery.
Breast Reconstruction
Cancer is one of the worst words in the English language. If you are a cancer survivor, we applaud your bravery, and we want to help you embark on the next chapter of your brilliant life story. After a mastectomy, you may want to restore your body to its pre-cancer dimensions.
Dr. Booth is ready to join your quest for closure, and he will customize a breast reconstruction procedure to fit your lifestyle.
Autologous Reconstruction
When your body has enough spare material to contribute to breast enhancement, an autologous reconstruction may be the best approach.[5] Autologous procedures harness fat and tissue from your own body to bolster and shape your reconstructed breast. This goal may be achieved by using flaps of skin near the breast or by grafting fat from elsewhere on the body (like the thighs or the buttocks). To discuss your breast reconstruction options, and to coordinate our efforts with your oncologist, call 512-755-8478.
Implant-Based Reconstruction
If the mastectomy process has left you without sufficient biological material to form a new breast, consider the benefits of implant-based reconstruction.[6] Dr. Booth can show you a wide array of saline and silicone options, so you can work together to replicate your natural, pre-cancer curves. Or, why not turn a new page altogether?
Implants empower you to be the woman you want.
Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia)
When the male chest is bulky or protruding, it can cause quite a bit of embarrassment. Men with oversized breasts may avoid locker rooms, beaches, and even tight-fitting clothes. The medical term for overly large male breasts is gynecomastia.[7]
When gynecomastia is treated properly, patients can be proud of their flatter, more rugged physique.
Dr. Booth can assess the causes and severity of gynecomastia during a private consultation. He can gently remove excess fat and glandular tissue as part of a male breast reduction procedure.
